Diversity within the tech and AI industries remains a significant challenge, but at Tilda, we are determined to make a difference. We are committed to building a solution that not only promotes a sustainable future but is also developed in a sustainable way. One example of this is our active work in creating diversity within our ownership structure.
"42% of our external capital now comes from female investors, and we are incredibly proud of that. Diversity in ownership provides us with exactly the kind of dynamism and strength we need to drive innovation and sustainable success."
– Bella Funck, CEO and co-founder of Tilda.
Only around 10-15% of angel investors in Europe are women, and this figure has remained relatively stable over the past decade. This highlights the significant gap in the distribution of venture capital between men and women.
"In the early stages of our pre-seed round, we almost exclusively received recommendations for male angel investors with similar profiles, who in turn recommended other male investors. It was only when we actively started seeking female investors with the right experience and profile that the trend shifted,"
- says Bella Funck.
Today, we are proud to present our investors, all of whom are leading experts in their respective fields:
- The Talent Company – A company focused on People Tech and talent management. Fredrik Johnsson and Therese Öberg represent the company at Tilda, bringing their expertise in building HR-tech startups.
- Charlotte Sundåker & Ingrid Höög – Both from Planethon, an impact agency. They bring their expertise in B2B sales, sustainable development, and change management.
- Åsa Höistad – Founder of The Hows, contributing deep domain expertise and extensive experience in learning, leadership development and change management.
- Johannes Sundlo – A prominent figure in tech and HR, contributing deep knowledge in HR, AI, and digital transformation.
- Alexandra Strömberg – A change leader who offers a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities large companies face in their transformation processes.
- Crevi Equity – An investment firm providing strategic guidance to foster growth in the tech sector.
"Tilda solves an important problem for many companies. We strongly believe in this space’s growth potential and its long-term impact for businesses."
- says Therese Öberg, Partner at The Talent Company and one of Tilda’s investors.
